About Emilie Guimond-Bélanger

Emilie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in International Law.

She began her professional path as a Social Worker supporting homeless people in downtown Montréal, and later worked on Human Rights advocacy with Tibetan and Caribbean women who had experienced sexual abuse and violations of reproductive rights.

In 2014, her own spiritual journey began — one that led her to discover the world of feminine embodiment. She lived in New York and San Francisco, studying with teachers such as Nicole Daedone, Gabor Maté, and Regena Thomashauer.

In 2017, she returned to Montréal and began her private practice as a coach, offering workshops and one-on-one sessions to support women in reconnecting to their power, healing emotional and sexual wounds, and creating lives that feel deeply aligned with who they truly are.

Since then, Emilie has worked with hundreds of women and continued to expand her expertise through advanced training in Somatic Transformation, Energy Work, and Inner Child Healing.

She has been based in Toronto since 2020.

Today, Emilie works as an intuitive Women’s Power Coach, guiding her clients through Embodied Guided Journeys, Energy Work, and Womb & Yoni Healing.

My Journey of Spiritual Growth

It all began when I met the Dalai Lama

I was 18 years old, studying abroad in Dharamsala, India, when I attended a weekend teaching with His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the topic of attachment.

I remember feeling something in my heart begin to soften — the parts that used to cling to people out of fear they might leave or die. That experience opened my heart to the beauty of what is present, and to a deeper ease in surrendering to life’s natural flow.

I began my work with women

After completing my degree in Social Work, I pursued a Master’s in International Law, focusing on reproductive rights violations among Tibetan women — including cases of forced abortions and sterilization.

This work allowed me to continue the human rights advocacy that had touched me so deeply during my time in India.

I also collaborated with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Human Rights Association, researching domestic violence and sexual abuse. Together, we submitted a report to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, exposing the government’s international law violations. A few months later, the country introduced its first gender equality policy.

Then, I got involved in politics

My time in India also expanded my awareness of social inequalities around the world.

As a Social Work student, I became a member — and twice a candidate — for the Québec solidaire political party, a progressive movement focused on social justice, gender equality, and environmental protection.

Later, I served as the Head of the National Women’s Commission, where I supported women candidates and helped integrate a gender-based perspective into the party’s political platform.

The night everything changed

At that time, I was working as a Social Worker with homeless people in downtown Montréal.

Even though I was helping others, I was struggling in my own life. My romantic relationship had ended after years of subtle manipulation. My intimacy was difficult — I was experiencing physical pain during intercourse and often felt disconnected from my body.

Yet, I had this deep knowing that something more was possible.

That’s when I discovered practices that helped me reconnect to my body — to the feminine energy that had always lived within me.

I began attending retreats and workshops, and eventually moved to New York to complete a year-long coaching certification in Orgasmic Meditation, a practice focused on mindfulness, presence, and connection.

Becoming a coach and teacher

After studying in New York and San Francisco, I returned to Montréal to begin sharing what I had learned. I started offering workshops and one-on-one sessions, and witnessed profound transformations in the women who joined.

There was a sense of clarity and rightness — I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.

My own path was still unfolding, as I continued to explore what it meant to truly connect to my power and create a life rooted in authenticity.

It took me a while to get here

To experience this joy.
This fullness.
This peace.

A spiritual healer once told me that my spirit animal is the Otter, and I laughed — because it’s true.

Deep down, I am playful, loving, and full of joy.
That doesn’t mean I haven’t walked through pain or darkness.

But I do have this deep sense of finally being at home in myself.

Then, life brought me two beautiful girls

Continuing to live from that deep inner alignment, I met the most wonderful man — and fell in love.

When he told me he had two daughters, he was nervous I might run away. But it turned out to be one of the greatest gifts of my life.

In 2020, I moved to Toronto to be with him, stepping into the new and beautiful adventure of motherhood during the chaos of COVID, and beginning yet another chapter of growth and love.
