The Three Steps to Feminine Embodiment

What is Feminine Embodiment?

Feminine embodiment is the experience of connecting through your body to a nourishing energy and the profound truth that lives within you.

I teach this because I believe it is the ultimate spiritual practice.

If you are able to be in your body, to feel your own energy, and to align with what is true for you - you are pretty much enlightened.

I’m not kidding ;)

And the challenge is to have this practice in real life - not on a quiet mountaintop. To live this embodiment. To live this truth.

.

Often, we meditate for 5-10 minutes, we feel calmer and then move back into our busy lives, with a busy mind.

The practice of feminine embodiment is all about keeping this connection with yourself while you live your life.

This is where it becomes the deepest, most challenging, and most rewarding spiritual practice, in my opinion.

Let’s break it down, shall we?

Step 1: The Connection to Your Body

Your first step is to gently connect to your body.

Take a few deep breaths. Relax your shoulders, your stomach, your toes.

Then, move your attention inside your body.

What you want here is to feel the sensations that are present.

You may be able to feel the vibrations, warmth, tightness, buzzing or heaviness that live in the different parts of your body.

.

Allow yourself to notice these sensations and stay with them as best you can with your attention inward.

Try to feel these sensations even while reading this.

This is the practice of inhabiting your body with your presence.

Step 2: The Connection to Your Nourishing Energy

We all have access to a deeply loving, peaceful, joyful energy within ourselves.

This energy is not about a momentary experience - being happy, sad or tired - it’s the life force moving through you. It’s your aliveness.

In the same way that a tree, a bird and an ocean are full of life, so are you.

The invitation here is to connect with that vibrancy, the love, joy - that sense of calm and warmth.

.

It lives underneath your thoughts when your mind is quiet and you are dropped into your body.

It’s a beingness.

It can feel like being by a quiet lake.

.

Even though we all have that life force energy in our bodies - the particular frequency that we hold is different for everyone.

Maybe for you it feels more like a humid, vibrant jungle.

Maybe it feels like the dark depths of the sea.

Maybe it’s a deep well of warm love.

.

Allow yourself to be curious, to discover it, to connect with it.

Step 3: The Connection to Your Truth

We can know our deepest truth when we listen to the wisdom that lives in our bodies.

There is a voice of intuition that lives in you.

When you connect with it, you hear a much deeper wisdom than anything your mind could ever come up with.

Your truth is connected to a deeper knowing at a soul level.

.

When you are dropped into your body and you are connected with the lifeforce that is there, all you need to do is listen.

Hear what this energy wants you to know.

It speaks the language of truth, and it speaks in whispers.

It might say: «“I don’t want this anymore,” “I love her,” or “Move in that direction.” ».

.

It’s concise and clear, and you can feel it in your body.

With practice, it becomes very clear when something comes from your truth and when it comes from your mind.

Consider someone you love, and the absolute clarity you feel about that love.

It’s a knowing, deep inside.

Practising Feminine Embodiment

Some of these practices are easier said than done.

I’m well aware.

This is the reason I support women on this journey through circles, workshops and 1:1 sessions.

This is a journey that becomes easier when you join a community and allow yourself to benefit from the wisdom of others who have walked the same path before you.

And we are all in this practice; no one has arrived at some perfect life experience.

In fact, some of us (like me) have been on this path for a decade, have fallen many times, and learned valuable lessons worth sharing.

This is why I do the work I do :)

I invite you to explore my monthly women’s circles and workshops and my 1:1 sessions in Toronto and online.
