It might sound counterintuitive.
Don’t you need to be thinking to write?
And the truth is, not really.
What I love most is this experience of allowing the inspiration and the wisdom that I feel to move through me, and be able to put it on paper (or on a keyboard) with no intermediary.
Without my mind getting in the way and giving its opinion on whether what I’m writing is good or bad.
There is freedom here.
In being able to move from inspiration to action.
I love writing when I’m in my body, when I’m dropped in.
I think in our world, which is so concerned with doing things right, we have forgotten the richness of intuition and inspiration.
We have walked all over the idea that feeling could lead with much greater value than rational thinking.
And don’t get me wrong, my rational thinking is there. A little later, it will help me write subtitles for this piece, write an SEO description and find an image so I can share this.
The mind is incredibly useful.
But I think we have become so dependent on it that we don’t trust our intuition anymore. We don’t value it.
What if what comes from within was even better than what your mind could ever come up with?
What if that truth that lives in your body was a far better guide for making decisions?
What if you knew in your bones that God (or life, or a higher power) was talking to you directly through your body?
Wouldn’t you want to know what they have to tell you, and where they want you guide you?
So there is an invitation here to build a deeper relationship to your intuition.
Knowing that what is in your highest and best good will be delivered right here in your body, and it will speak the language of your gut feeling.
